4. Customer Responsibilities

Ensure that all items to be moved are properly packed, labeled, and ready for transport.

Ensure that your property is accessible for our team to perform the moving services.

Inform us of any special circumstances, such as fragile items, unusual access points, or additional services required.

Not hold Clean Slate Mover responsible for any damage or loss caused by insufficient packing or failure to inform us of special circumstances.

5. Payment and Fees

All services provided are subject to the fees outlined in your service agreement or estimate.

Payment for moving services is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and other payment systems.

A deposit may be required for certain services, and cancellation fees may apply in the event of changes or cancellations made within a specified time frame.

Additional charges may apply for extra services, extended time, or delays caused by customer-related factors.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel or reschedule your moving service up to 24 hours in advance without incurring a cancellation fee. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled move, a cancellation fee may apply.

In the event that we need to cancel or reschedule a service due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative solution or refund if applicable.

7. Limitation of Liability

Clean Slate Mover will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to property damage, loss, or theft, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by our employees. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.

8. Insurance and Liability Coverage

Clean Slate Mover provides basic insurance coverage for your items during the move, which covers damage or loss caused by our team’s actions. This coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of our insurance policy.

You may choose to purchase additional insurance coverage for high-value items. Please contact us in advance to discuss coverage options.

Customers must notify Clean Slate Mover immediately if they notice any damage to their items or property during the moving process.

9. Prohibited Items

For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport certain items, including but not limited to:

Hazardous materials (flammable, explosive, corrosive, etc.)

Perishable items

Pets or animals

Illegal items or substances

It is your responsibility to ensure that prohibited items are not included in the move. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from transporting prohibited items.
